“I think that for great things to happen, there is always a need for a collaboration between industry and a medical center.” Dr. Roberto Lang states, “I have been working with Philips for over 25 years, so I have witnessed a lot of the breakthroughs that Philips has had.”

For healthcare institutions, keeping technology up-to-date is a significant investment but also an essential component in quality healthcare delivery. It has become a key differentiating factor in improving patient care and establishing a competitive advantage.

Dr. Roberto Lang shares his challenge in keeping their EPIQ systems standardized We have a lot of EPIQ machines, and just because of how the budget goes, we get a certain allotted amount of money every year. So what will happen here is that we have a mix; all EPIQ machines that are at different levels…

He elaborates on how Technology Maximizer can solve that issue and benefit the patient, So a product like Technology Maximizer has a big advantage…This will allow us in a way to do this in a very easy and standardized way and we would be able to use the advantages of these new innovations and provide them to our patients in a quicker fashion.

Eric Kruse highlights how the Technology Maximizer program helps them with efficiency, predictability and transparency, stating "Being in the Technology Maximizer program really helps things from an administrative standpoint to make sure that I am not having to do independent research meaning we work closely with Philips to understand that the Maximizer program is really going to allow for full transparency across all of our systems.

He also adds how Technology Maximizer is helping the department in their cybersecurity challenges saying, I think in today’s world we have to be extremely cognizant of what is going on around us, especially from an IT standpoint, cybersecurity is a huge risk, so knowing that we have the new technology for all of our systems helps ensure that security on each one of our systems.
